GT Insurance has launched a transport package on Ebix Australia’s Sunrise Exchange.

The move continues the underwriting agency’s portfolio expansion on Sunrise following the addition of marine cargo and carriers insurance last year.

“We look forward to enhancing the service experience for our existing customers and introducing this product to new customers,” GM of sales, underwriting and technical services Ben Briscoe said.

GT Insurance, which began trading in 1996, specialises in commercial motor and transport insurance, with capacity from Allianz Australia.

The new package, designed to support brokers working with transport operators, offers simplified access to critical cover via the exchange.

“GT is known for its deep understanding of the transport industry, and this launch reflects its commitment to delivering targeted, easy-to-access insurance solutions,” Ebix Australia MD Philip Fourie said.
