GSA announces key appointments
GSA Insurance Brokers has filled a number of key positions, as the integration of fellow Steadfast-owned business Coverforce Insurance Brokers continues.
Tim Wight is returning to the brokerage as head of Victoria after a stint as GM of Linx Insurance Australia, while Steven Hill joins as senior client manager, Queensland.
Mr Hill, a National Insurance Brokers Association board member, was previously an account director at Network Insurance House.
Sarah March recently joined GSA as senior client manager, corporate, in Melbourne. Rachel Harvey was recruited as senior client manager in Brisbane, and Lara Morgan joined as senior client manager, general insurance, in Sydney.
GSA’s head of professional and financial lines Ben Rubio has been made head of commercial. Senior client manager Adam Hansen was promoted to client director, Queensland, and Dan McEvilly was appointed GSA’s head of construction and specialty.
GSA announced the acquisition of Coverforce Insurance Brokers in November, and integration is well under way. From April 1, branding was updated to GSA branding.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for both businesses to come together and deliver an even stronger service offering for your business, backed by our expanded team of 135 staff across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and a collective premium pool of over $500 million,” GSA CEO James Telford said in a letter to clients.
