Gallagher pitches in with NZ Rugby

Gallagher has become the official insurance broker for New Zealand Rugby, and its branding will appear on the training and match day shorts of teams including the All Blacks, Black Ferns, Maori All Blacks and rugby sevens sides.

It will also be a regional partner for several All Blacks youth rugby clinics and be a jersey partner for referees in domestic competitions.

“Partnering with New Zealand Rugby – an institution that stands for integrity, respect and excellence – aligns perfectly with our values,” Gallagher chief marketing officer Christopher Mead said.

“We are proud to stand with the All Blacks, the Black Ferns and all NZR teams as they inspire fans and unite communities around the world.”

Gallagher has also signed All Black Beauden Barrett as a global ambassador for its community commitments. He joins retired Black Ferns star Kendra Cocksedge as a Gallagher ambassador.

New Zealand Rugby CEO Mark Robinson says the partnership “helps solidify where we’re heading, not just with our teams on field, but as a sporting brand off the field too.

“We couldn’t be more excited to align with Gallagher Insurance, who already have deep expertise in elite sport, along with a key business focus in New Zealand and globally.”
