Matthew Davis has been made Australian claims lead at Delta Insurance.

He has six years’ experience in law and eight in claims, with particular expertise in professional indemnity, the underwriting agency says.

“For brokers and their clients, that means a stronger local claims capability and a dedicated lead focused on building lasting relationships across the market,” Delta said.

Melbourne-based Mr Davis is the Australasian Professional Indemnity Group Victoria president and was previously a senior claims specialist at Axa XL for eight years.

“I’m looking forward to working with the local and international underwriting teams to build and develop stronger relationships with our broker and capacity clients, and to grow and expand Delta Insurance in Australia,” he said.
