Feedback on the proposed redraft of the broking code of practice is due by the end of next week, the profession’s peak body says in a reminder.

A final version will go to the National Insurance Brokers Association board after consideration of input received on the draft, which was released on July 8.

“NIBA thanks everyone who has taken part and had their say in what has been a thorough and robust consultation process,” the association said, noting the August 7 closing date.

A member-only webinar on the code will be held today, with more than 650 participants registered. The association is aiming for a January 1 launch of the updated code.
