CGU has changed its underwriting criteria for business and office pack referrals, introducing a $2000 minimum premium requirement.

The threshold will be implemented across all broker trading platforms from next Wednesday. 

A spokesperson says the move is “part of our ongoing efforts to streamline referral processes and improve efficiencies ... CGU will continue to underwrite business and office pack policies under $2000 for policies that do not require referral.”

The IAG brand has informed its intermediary partners of the change.
