Perth-based Adam Wright has been appointed business development underwriter at MB Insurance Group, becoming the prestige motor specialist’s first representative in WA.  

Mr Wright – who owns three classic Jaguars and a Datsun 240Z – was most recently a Marsh senior account executive and is a former IAG senior consultant and underwriter.  

“We’re very excited to have Adam join,” MD Daniel McNamara said. “Adam will continue the excellent work of [Sydney-based WA business development manager] Christine Merheb in servicing the prestige motor insurance needs of the WA market.”

Last month, MB appointed NSW-based Chris Quick as head of strategy and business development. He was one of three managers who recently left Steadfast Underwriting Agencies, where he spent a decade, finishing as head of market management.  

Mr Wright says WA has a “booming car culture”.

“My goals over the next 12 months are to connect with brokers, and ensure growth across their portfolios with consistent connection, visibility and trusted partnerships,” he said.
