Bombing survivor, media figure headline Steadfast conference

Steadfast Group has announced the keynote speakers for next year’s convention.

London terror attack survivor Gill Hicks and Nine finance editor Chris Kohler will lead the line-up in Adelaide in March.

“Steadfast Convention 2027 is about igniting ideas, relationships and momentum so our broker network can seize those opportunities and continue leading the way in the insurance broking industry,” CEO Robert Kelly said.

A survivor of the London bombings of July 7 2005, Dr Hicks has “a rare appreciation for simply being alive”, Steadfast says.

“She is one of few people who have endured such unimaginable trauma and equally few who can speak about a tragic event in such an engaging and uplifting manner.”

The broking group says Mr Kohler is “one of Australia’s most respected voices in business and economic reporting with a passion for making finance accessible to all”.

The Steadfast Convention brings together more than 1500 network brokers, exhibiting strategic partners and service providers.

“Each year, Steadfast Convention is a highlight because it brings our brokers and partners together in one room and is a powerful demonstration of the relationships, collaboration and shared ambition that underpins the collective success of the Steadfast network,” Mr Kelly said.

Registrations are open for the event from March 21-23 at Adelaide Convention Centre.
