BMS Group has promoted Callum McMillan to national head of directors’ and officers’ liability and Pranav Jani to client director – national head of cyber.

Mr McMillan has two decades’ underwriting experience at Zurich, Ace Insurance and Chubb, and brings expertise in managing financial lines portfolios. He joined international broking group BMS through the July 2023 acquisition of Bluebook Brokers.

“In my new role, my focus will be on growing our D&O portfolio and supporting our offices nationally to deliver tailored solutions for clients,” he said.

Mr Jani, who also joined through the Bluebook Brokers deal, has worked in the insurance industry since 2009 and brings extensive knowledge in professional and financial lines, with a focus on cyber risk and professional indemnity. 

“There is far greater awareness of cyber risks today, and this role reflects BMS’ commitment to providing dedicated expertise to support our clients,” Mr Jani said.

BMS Australia CEO Andrew Godden says the promotions reflect the depth of talent in the group and ensure it keeps delivering insights and value to clients as the risk landscape evolves, particularly in the financial and cyber domains. 

Both appointments are effective immediately.
