SME specialist BizCover says more than 300,000 customers have used its quote and buy portal to obtain or renew cover.

The AUB-backed business announced the landmark figure after celebrating its 18th anniversary last month.

“Reaching 300,000 active customers is an incredible moment ... This milestone is not just about growth, but also about BizCover’s impact,” CEO Michael Gottlieb said.

“We’ve built a platform with a clear purpose – to help make insurance simple for SMEs.”

About 87% of customers have reported premium savings using the portal, according to BizCover.

“In the current economic climate, it is more important than ever that small business owners can quickly and easily quote and compare insurance premiums,” the company said.

BizCover is confident its AI push will keep the business growing. Mr Gottlieb said: “With the opportunities that AI is creating, it feels like we’re just getting started. We will continue to find new ways to make business insurance simpler and more affordable for Australian small businesses.”
