Kerin Rathgeber has been appointed head of trade credit at Aviso Specialty.

She was most recently GSA Insurance Brokers business development manager, and has also worked at JLT Group and Aon.

Aviso says Melbourne-based Ms Rathgeber has almost three decades’ experience across trade credit, underwriting, broking, business development and strategic client advisory.

“Her appointment strengthens our specialist capability in an area that is becoming increasingly important for business leaders,” the brokerage said.

“For many clients, the question is ... how much credit exposure they should carry, where debtor concentrations sit, what the financial impact could be if a major customer failed and whether the right risk transfer strategies are in place.
