Ausure details rapid growth, integration following acquisitions

The Ausure authorised representative network has grown by 138 in recent months, taking its total number of ARs to 251.

The transition of former Resilium Insurance Broking and PSC Connect network businesses diversifies its national footprint, Ausure says, bringing together brokerages of different sizes, specialties and regional markets.

"We welcome all of the businesses and people who have joined us and sincerely thank them for working with us through the transition over the last few months," Ausure CEO Scott McCarthy said.

Ausure-owner Steadfast Group announced in April it would acquire the Resilium and PSC networks from Envest.

Mr McCarthy says while Ausure has achieved greater scale, maintaining the culture and relationships that have underpinned Ausure’s growth is key.

"Our focus is preserving the family culture that has been at the heart of Ausure since its commencement in country NSW some 30 years ago," he said.

"There is no question that as a business gets larger it needs to have more governance, more processes, become more efficient etc – but maintaining your connection to where you began is critical, otherwise you’re ‘just a business’."

Ausure’s growth strategy remains centred on enabling individual brokerages to retain their own identity, client relationships and local market presence while gaining access to the resources, systems and support of a large national network, he says.

Ausure says the successful onboarding of so many ARs demonstrates its infrastructure is in place to support continued expansion while "maintaining the accessibility and personal relationships that have traditionally differentiated the network".
