Austbrokers salutes top performers
AEI Insurance Broking Group’s Matthew Estwick has won this year’s Tim Wedlock Young Broker Award, named after the company’s late executive chairman.
Other Austbrokers Awards winners include Austbrokers Countrywide’s Matt Kuc, named broker of the year, and MGIB’s Donna Pearce, who is claims manager of the year. MGA Insurance Group’s John George won the Frank Earl Award for outstanding performance in client service, business retention and growth, professional development and industry engagement.
AEI has congratulated Mr Estwick, saying: “Tim would be incredibly proud of what you have achieved, Matt, and so are we. This award recognises outstanding emerging talent within the broking community while honouring Tim Wedlock’s legacy and his passion for mentoring and developing the next generation of industry professionals.
“Matt’s dedication to his clients, commitment to excellence and passion for continuous growth have made him a standout.”
Mr Wedlock died earlier this year in a road accident while visiting the US.
AUB-owned Austbrokers announced its award winners last week at a two-day annual conference on the Gold Coast.
“From inspiring insights and engaging discussions to meaningful connections and memorable moments, the conference was a wonderful reminder of the strength of the Austbrokers network,” the company said.
