Arch Insurance Australia has appointed Dave Ha as senior executive assurance underwriter, as it expands its southern region focus.

Melbourne-based Mr Ha joins from Dual, where he was most recently a senior underwriter. He has also held financial lines and liability roles at Allianz, QBE and Meritz.

He will support growth of the executive assurance portfolio across mid-market and corporate segments, providing solutions across directors and officers, management liability, employment practices liability, statutory liability, crime and associations liability.

Mr Ha reports to executive assurance southern region underwriting manager Mark Cocks and has a focus area extending across Victoria, Tasmania, SA and WA.

“As we continue to grow our presence and expand our capabilities across the southern region, Dave’s depth of experience, technical expertise and proactive approach to broker engagement will be invaluable,” Mr Cocks said.

The appointment is effective immediately.
