Arch Insurance Australia has appointed Shawn Jarman as senior casualty underwriter, based in Melbourne.

He will support the growth of the casualty portfolio, with a focus on underwriting new and renewal public and product liability business.

Mr Jarman will report to Carmen Tung, southern regional casualty underwriting manager.

He joins Arch from the state-owned Victorian Managed Insurance Authority, where he was most recently a risk adviser.

He has also held underwriting and account management roles at Epsilon Underwriting, Allianz and Vero.
