Colin Radford has been appointed Comcare CEO for a five-year term.

He takes over from acting CEO Michael Duke, who has led the workers’ compensation and rehabilitation scheme for Commonwealth employees since March.  

Mr Radford previously spent four years as CEO of WorkSafe Victoria and three years as CEO of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority.

He was also a member of Safe Work Australia between 2020 and 2023.

Federal Employment Minister Amanda Rishworth says Mr Radford “will provide strong leadership to Comcare during this important period.

“Australians deserve a high level of work health and safety when at their place of employment and are entitled to access workers’ compensation if needed.”
