Insurers to visit hail-hit town
The Insurance Council of Australia will visit Harden in NSW to help residents recovering from a hailstorm in February.
It will hold consultation sessions on August 6 and 7, allowing customers to meet with their insurers and discuss claims.
The sessions will also provide guidance on claims processes, dispute resolution methods and other insurance-related information.
“In the months since this event, insurers have been working hard to assess, repair and finalise outstanding claims, but we acknowledge there is still work to do,” ICA CEO Andrew Hall said.
“We know having the opportunity to speak with your insurer face to face provides immense value to policyholders, so I encourage anyone with an outstanding claim to come along and speak with their insurer to work through any remaining issues or concerns.”
The sessions will be at the Harden Country Club from 9am-5pm.
