FMG Insurance CEO Adam Heath has become chairman of the Insurance Council of New Zealand, with Suncorp NZ CEO Jimmy Higgins the deputy chairman.

IAG NZ CEO Phil Gibson, Medical Assurance Society CEO Jo McCauley and Ando Insurance CEO Therese Singleton have joined the board.

Continuing directors are Paul Johnston from Tower, Jonathan Groves (QBE), Michelle James (AA Insurance), Simone Labady (Aioi) and Adrian Sweeney (Zurich).
