TAL launches ethics courses for advisers

TAL is introducing four new courses for advisers on navigating conflicts, ethical dilemmas, recent client determinations and how embedding ethics can shape their advice and daily business.

The courses will be conducted through the TAL Risk Academy, the life insurer’s education platform for advisers.

It says the courses are part of its Ethics Month program, which will feature weekly live webinars that dissect key sections of the ethics code, analyse real-world scenarios, and give advisers tools to confidently navigate ethical dilemmas.

“Ethics Month is designed to support advisers in their compliance with the code of ethics and provide a practical understanding of this important topic,” National Sales Development Manager Jason Bamford said. “Ethical decision-making lies at the heart of responsible financial advice practice. In today’s complex and rapidly evolving advice landscape, advisers are regularly faced with complex ethical dilemmas.

“Our aim with Ethics Month is to empower advisers with the knowledge and resources to confidently navigate these challenges.”
