Bombora names new MD, chair

Bombora Advice says board member Niall McConville has been appointed MD, taking over from Wayne Handley, who will become executive chairman.

The life advice business made the leadership changes after current chair Kevin Martin decided to step down. He will stay on as a board member.

“These are exciting times and the strategic business opportunities for Bombora are immense,” Mr Handley, who founded the business, said.

“I’m looking forward to positioning the organisation for continued success and growth in the future.”

Mr McConville said: “My focus will be the next phase of Bombora’s strategic journey that will include enhancing operational efficiency, capitalising on growth opportunities in the life insurance sector and improving both adviser and client experiences.”

The pair will begin their new roles tomorrow.
