Swiss Re has appointed Tamas Brown to lead its Asia-Pacific life and health business from next month.

Mr Brown is currently MD and head of life and health for the UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa, according to his LinkedIn.

His appointment to the Asia-Pacific role, which excludes China, is subject to regulatory approvals. 

Mr Brown was previously based in Tokyo as Swiss Re head of life and health client markets for Japan.

“Tamas’ deep knowledge of Asia’s [life and health] insurance landscape and his track record in crafting complex tailored transactions will be an invaluable asset to our clients,” Swiss Re said.
