Monvia salutes big year for revenue, strategy

Life insurance software provider Monvia says 2025-26 was “a defining year” as earnings outperformed expectations ahead of the business listing last month on the Australian Securities Exchange.

Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation totalled $6.9 million, exceeding the listing prospectus forecast of $6.6 million.

Monvia says annual recurring revenue growth was “the standout result”. The group’s annual report says its revenue model depends on retaining clients and growing contracted annual recurring revenue through new clients and cross-sell of additional platform modules.

Annual recurring revenue growth at July 1 was up 21% on a year earlier, underpinned by “strong client renewals, pricing uplifts and expansion of the cloud native life insurance platform”.

Monvia says another milestone was the execution of a five-year cornerstone agreement with MetLife, further reinforcing its position as a “trusted strategic partner” to life insurers.

“As we enter FY27, our priorities are clear: convert the strategic sales pipeline, deepen our relationships with existing customers, continue to grow recurring revenue, invest in platform excellence and build the operating discipline required of a listed company,” Monvia said.
