Future2 programs ‘making a real difference’
The Future2 Foundation says its annual grant program supported more than 1200 people last year.
The charity, which is backed by the financial services profession, gave $128,842 to 12 projects through its Make The Difference program, including $10,000 for an initiative to build financial literacy in children aged five to 12.
“Our aim is to support programs that are practical and outcomes-focused, helping people build financial capability, confidence and independence,” foundation chair Julie Berry said.
She says the programs “are making a real difference to the lives and financial futures of Australians in need. It is also encouraging to see the financial services industry come together to support meaningful change, as a collective effort driving real community impact.”
Applications for the next round of grants will open on July 9 and close on August 20.
