McLarens recruits global strategy head

International claims services provider McLarens has appointed Danny Miller as chief global strategy officer.

The newly created position focuses on long-term planning, including merger and acquisition opportunities and enterprise-based initiatives.

US-based Mr Miller joins from Knight Commercial, where he was chief strategy officer.

He previously spent six years as executive VP of operations at Sedgwick and 15 years at York Insurance Services.

He will work in Atlanta, reporting to CEO Gary Brown, who says the appointment “marks an exciting step forward”.

“His track record of driving growth, transforming operations and delivering value across diverse geographies and market cycles makes him ideally suited to help guide McLarens into its next chapter,” Mr Brown said.
