Chubb has appointed Aaron Shead, who has more than 25 years’ experience with the insurer, as head of property for its international operations.

Mr Shead will oversee the growth and profitability of Chubb’s fire, terrorism, power and energy portfolios, and serve as business leader for property major accounts.

He has held leadership roles across the UK, Asia and Bermuda, and most recently was head of fire for Chubb Overseas General Insurance. 

“Aaron’s appointment reflects both his outstanding track record and the confidence we have in his leadership to drive our property business forward,” division president for property and casualty Brian Church said.

“His global experience, deep technical expertise and commitment to our clients’ evolving needs position him perfectly to lead our team as we continue to deliver innovative solutions and sustainable growth.” 

Mr Shead’s appointment as executive VP, head of property, for Chubb Overseas General Insurance took effect last week.
