Upcover combines insurance, legal access
Insurtech Upcover has partnered with legal platform Lawpath to offer bundled insurance and legal services for small businesses and start-ups.
Companies can buy tailored cover and legal documents in one place online via both platforms.
Lawpath CEO Dominic Woolrych says his customers often ask for help with business insurance, while many Upcover clients need legal documents.
“This partnership brings two essential services under one roof, simplifying operations for Australia’s entrepreneurs and business owners,” he said.
Public liability, professional indemnity and directors’ insurance is available for sole traders and early-stage businesses, alongside shareholder agreements, employment contracts and intellectual property protection documents. Industry-specific bundles are expected to be added in future.
“By teaming up with Lawpath, we’re combining two essential services, legal and insurance, into a single, automated experience that reflects how modern businesses operate,” Upcover co-founder and COO Anish Sinha said.
