Turkish Airlines has renewed its partnership with embedded insurance insurtech Cover Genius and plans to expand its offer to Australia and Latin America.

The partnership launched in 2023 in Turkey and now operates in 57 countries.

Tailored options are planned for the US and Europe with products that respond to varying needs and regional travel demands.

Cover Genius says nearly three-quarters of all claims are paid within five days.

“Turkish Airlines is serving more countries than any other airline in the world. Our partnership focuses on using that reach to facilitate the next level of customer experience,” Cover Genius CEO Angus McDonald said.

He adds the airline has “shown what’s possible when protection is treated as a core part of the journey”.
