Simfuni appoints product chief
New Zealand insurtech Simfuni has appointed Tim von Dadelszen as chief product officer to lead innovation.
Mr von Dadelszen was most recently Partners Life head of digital innovation for more than six years. Before that he was Trade Me Insurance GM and co-founded online insurance platform LifeDirect in New Zealand.
“Tim is a rare combination of deep insurance expertise and product vision,” Simfuni CEO Shaun Quincey said.
“He understands the complexity insurers face and how to streamline it. As we expand Simfuni’s reach and impact, Tim’s leadership will be instrumental in delivering elegant, scalable solutions that meet the real needs of insurers and their customers.”
Mr von Dadelszen says Simfuni’s focus on simplicity, speed and customer outcomes aligns with his belief that great digital experiences “start with empathy for the end user”.
“Joining Simfuni is an exciting opportunity to help reshape the future of insurance technology. I’m looking forward to working with the team to build solutions that make a meaningful difference,” he said.
Simfuni’s platform is designed to save brokers administrative time and costs, and can integrate with any insurer, broker group or premium funder’s quoting and invoicing software.
It offers flexible payment options for policyholders and aims to improve back-office efficiency through automated reconciliation and arrears management. It features e-invoicing and customer self-service tools.
