PitchLIVE looks for next big thing

The InsurtechLIVE26 pitch competition is open for applications until January 21.

PitchLIVE, run by Insurtech Australia and law firm Hamilton Locke, will feature start-ups based in Australia or New Zealand that have either operated less than five years, have fewer than 30 employees or have not raised capital.

Finalists will pitch at the InsurtechLIVE26 conference at Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf in Sydney on February 18.

“InsurtechLIVE26 will bring together vision and insights from global and local leaders, spotlighting the insurtech investment environment and the role of technology in enabling insurance innovation,” IA says.

Conference topics include: scaling an insurance business, with Hollard and PetSure Australia director Richard Enthoven; building safer AI, with Open co-founder Jason Wilby; redefining risk; industry leader perspectives on innovation; and generative AI trends.

Other speakers will include Hamilton Locke partner Charmian Holmes, QBE Ventures global head of strategy and partnerships Lynn Thompson and Fetch CEO Phil Wilson-Brown.
