Market Lane turns to BirdsEyeView on fire risk
Insurtech BirdsEyeView has partnered with Market Lane Insurance Group to bolster the underwriting agency’s approach to bushfire risk.
BirdsEyeView’s Catastrophe Exposure and Risk Analytics natural peril modelling platform, which launched in March, will support underwriting decisions, focusing on the wildfire threat.
The partners say it will enable Market Lane’s underwriters to view fire risk scoring alongside exposure data and other natural catastrophe perils in one place, providing a more efficient way to assess risk and support underwriting decisions.
Market Lane Insurance Group MD Toby Salmon says the agency is impressed with the quality of the technology and BirdsEyeView’s customer service.
“The combination of high-resolution natural catastrophe models and exposure management in a single platform has given our team a much more efficient way to assess risk and support underwriting decisions.
“The platform continues to evolve through regular enhancements, and the team has been proactive in taking on board our feedback and incorporating features that are genuinely valuable to our workflow.”
