JAVLN lands new finance, tech leaders

Insurance software group JAVLN has bolstered its Australian growth plans with the appointment of Peter Waring as Group Chief Technology Officer and Rosalie Lau as Group Chief Financial Officer.

CEO Dale Smith says the pair have the expertise to support the New Zealand company’s ambitions in the Australian market, where broker group BJS Insurance recently started using JAVLN’s client and policy management technology.

“They bring a wealth of experience that will enable us to continue our mission of being a technology enabler for insurance brokers, helping them become more productive, ensure compliance and make informed decisions,” he said.

Mr Waring’s career spans more than 26 years in the technology industry, having previously worked for Fortune 500 groups and tech companies at the start-up and scale-up stages.

Ms Lau has a background in the technology and insurance intermediary sectors and was most recently Resilium CFO.
