Five finalists are preparing to present at cloud platform Guidewire’s Insurtech Vanguards Pitch Day competition in Sydney on May 23, the first time the event has been held in Australia. 

Queensland-based Codafication, Canberra’s Haast, Sydney-based HumanableCX, Quant Property Solutions from Ballarat and South Africa’s Thesl have been selected to present at the Four Seasons, where a grand prize winner will be announced.

The winner will be showcased at Guidewire Connections 2024 in Nashville, US, attended by 3000 industry executives, investors and media. 

“We see a really good opportunity through programs like Vanguard for our early stage companies to partner with the bigger tech players,” Insurtech Australia CEO Simone Dossetor told insuranceNEWS.com.au. “It can be a win for everyone and significantly support businesses scaling globally.” 

ICEYE was the first pitch day winner in 2022 and CaseGlide won in 2023.
