Cloud platform Guidewire is calling for applications from Australian insurtechs ahead of a pitch day in Sydney in May.

Insurtechs can submit a 90-second video by March 22 showcasing their business for a chance to feature in front of 3000 attendees at the Guidewire Connections conference.

“Guidewire’s Insurtech Vanguards Pitch Day competition is going global – and our first stop is Sydney,” Guidewire said.

“Professionally produced videos are not required. Showcase your solution and the business problem it solves for property and casualty insurers.”

Guidewire will post all eligible entries on the Pitch Day Sydney website on April 1.

Five insurtechs with the most votes will be announced on April 22 and will present at the Sydney event at Four Seasons The Rocks on May 23.
