Phil Joel has been appointed Guidewire solution advisory VP for Asia-Pacific.

Mr Joel, based in Sydney, will support regional sales and post-sales teams in helping insurance companies optimise processes.

He was most recently Alex Solutions’ chief revenue officer and is a former InfoCentric GM.

“He has a great track record of success and we look forward to having him support the ongoing successful deployment of our product solutions with his visionary leadership and experience in scaling solutions for ongoing transformation,” Guidewire senior VP and MD Asia-Pacific Shaji Sethu said.
