Industry tech solutions provider Guidewire has appointed Suresh Raman as Asia-Pacific sales VP.

Mr Raman, based in Sydney, will lead strategic direction and management of sales and business development, and will aim to strengthen the company’s partner and channel strategies.

Guidewire says he is a strategic sales leader with more than 20 years’ experience across insurers, banks and other financial services.

He was most recently at banking tech provider Temenos as regional head of software as a service.

“[His] deep leadership experience and proven track record helping scale financial services organisations throughout Asia-Pacific will be invaluable as we look to grow and expand in Australia, Japan, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations countries and the broader Asia region, such as India,” regional MD and senior VP Shaji Sethu said.
