Broker-first software as a service start-up Folio won insurtech of the year at last week’s New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards.

Judges praised Folio’s clarity of purpose and practical delivery, and were impressed by its broker-centric design.

“Folio’s partnership with Community Broker Network and strategic integrations with capacity providers were recognised as validating moves to accelerate regional growth and demonstrate commercial traction,” judges said.
