Sharon White has been appointed Asia-Pacific VP of data management at tech group EXL.

Sydney-based Ms White was most recently associate VP at IT group HCLTech, and previously held senior positions at Deloitte, KPMG and IT company GainInsights Solutions.

“Sharon is exactly the kind of leader we need as EXL deepens its commitment to the ANZ market,” regional senior VP Vilas Madan said.

“Her track record of architecting and delivering complex, large‑scale data programs, coupled with her deep understanding of the local market and partner ecosystem, will be instrumental in helping our clients turn data into AI‑driven business outcomes at scale.”

Ms White will work on the rollout of EXLdata.ai, an agentic AI data suite.

She has worked with clients across insurance, banking, utilities, telecommunications, retail, travel, tech, e-commerce and government in Asia-Pacific and Europe.

“The question is no longer whether to invest in data and AI – it’s how to turn that investment into consistent and scalable outcomes,” Ms White said.

“EXL has the global capability, industry depth and delivery rigour to help clients do exactly that, and I’m excited to accelerate that agenda across the region.”
