DXC honours new wave of innovators

Three insurtechs won awards at this year’s DXC Invitational contest for late-stage start-ups and scale-ups.

The “bringing innovation to the DXC Assure insurance product suite” prize went to New Zealand’s PolicyCheck, which automates policy comparison and coverage analysis.

The workers’ compensation, self-insurance and public liability health and wellness category was won by Sydney’s MEDirect, which connects medical experts with lawyers, insurers, employers and government agencies.

And “enriching the insurance experience” was won by healthcare app Anya.

The DXC Invitational – established in 2018 – aims to discover market-ready products that improve customer experience, increase efficiency and support compliance.
