Steadfast CFO to step down
Steadfast says group financial controller Hannah Lee will become acting CFO following Stephen Humphrys’ decision to retire at the end of next month.
Mr Humphrys, who joined the intermediary group in 2013, is stepping down for health reasons.
“Stephen has made a significant contribution to the success of Steadfast,” CEO and MD Robert Kelly said. “He has played a pivotal role in helping drive the business to achieve its strategic objectives … During his tenure, Steadfast was listed on the ASX in August 2013 and has since produced 12 successive years of record profits.
“We respect his decision to prioritise health as well as his family and wish him all the very best for the future.”
Before joining Steadfast, Mr Humphrys was managing director of Moore Stephens Sydney for 10 years and chair of Moore Stephens Australasia Network for three. He played a key role in putting Moore Stephens in the top 10 accounting firms in Australia, according to the Steadfast website.
Steadfast says an executive search to fill the CFO role is continuing.
Meanwhile, Alexandra Rose has joined as company secretary. She reports to chief legal officer Duncan Ramsay, who has been doubling up in the company secretary role.
Steadfast will release its 2024-25 financial results on August 29.
