Scofield to leave Allianz after 22 years
Allianz Australia’s chief corporate affairs officer Nicholas Scofield will leave the insurer at the end of this month after more than two decades.
Mr Scofield’s responsibilities have included government relations and regulatory affairs and he has appeared before a number of government inquiries.
Prior to Allianz he worked at The Allen Consulting Group, and from 1993 to 2001 he was a senior economic adviser to the prime minister and cabinet.
“We would like to thank Nicholas for his enormous contributions over the past 22 years and wish him all the best for the future,” an Allianz spokesperson told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
Allianz declined to comment on the reasons for the departure or whether it is part of a wider restructure.
Mr Scofield wrote on LinkedIn that he is seeking corporate, consulting or government opportunities.
