Outlook comes to Melbourne for recap session
A “replay breakfast” recapping highlights from this year’s Insurance News Outlook conference will be held in Melbourne.
People unable to attend the main event in Sydney on March 19 will, for the first time, be able to hear a summary of the most important insights at the Melbourne session on March 25.
Attendees at both events gain exclusive access to the INFORM 2026 Market Outlook Report, packed with insights on market trends, industry pressures and emerging opportunities, and revealing implications for pricing, capacity and appetite.
Topics at the main conference – at Doltone House in Pyrmont – include global perspectives on growth, smarter cyber decisions, wellbeing in the workplace, the future of broking and the evolution of claims.
Ben Goodall, CEO of PSC, will join a panel of leading brokers discussing the future of SME and mid-market insurance distribution, and how it will evolve over the next 10 years.
Aon Australia CEO Kevan Johnston will be on a panel with other leaders discussing key issues and opportunities facing the industry.
Kira Pellicano, head of commercial claims at Vero, and a panel of experts will examine trends in claims, especially in relation to technology.
And Finity Consulting principal Susie Amos will present the INFORM report detailing industry risk appetite and the effect on brokers, underwriting agencies and insurers.
Other speakers include Insurance Advisernet MD Shaun Standfield, Steadfast EGM Nick Cook, McLardy McShane Partners CEO Meg Long, Lockton Pacific head of claims Adam Squire and Claims Gateway executive Georgia McKelvey.
The conference will wrap up with a CEO panel exploring the year ahead, plus networking drinks.
Alongside Finity, the conference is supported by gold partner QBE and sponsors Entsia and AAMC. Attendees are entitled to eight ANZIIF CIP points and six NIBA CPD points.
The Melbourne replay breakfast will be at Evoqe Events, 123 Queen Street, from 7.30am-9.30am.
