Marsh has promoted Poppy Foxton to head of corporate and commercial for the Pacific region.

“Poppy brings 16 years’ experience and will lead the mid-market practice, driving client-first solutions and market-leading insights across the Pacific,” Marsh said on LinkedIn today.

Ms Foxton joined the broker early last year through its acquisition of Honan. She has most recently worked as head of corporate for Australia.

At Honan, her roles included head of claims, and national head of corporate insurance and risk solutions. She was previously a claims consultant at Aon, her LinkedIn page shows.

“The Pacific region’s evolving mid-market sector is full of energy and momentum, and we’re proud to continue delivering the best of Marsh to our clients and showing up for each other as a team,” Ms Foxton said.

The regional corporate and commercial role was previously held by Johannes D Veldsman, who is joining rival brokerage Gallagher.
