The proposed consortium buyout of Steadfast is the first item discussed on the latest episode of the Insurance News podcast.

As previously reported, the listed giant has attracted a $6-a-share takeover offer from Amwins Group and Dragoneer Investment Group, valuing the company at $7.7 billion.
