INsight podcast: relief all round at TasInsure U-turn
The Tasmanian government’s change of approach on insurance is the first item discussed on the latest episode of the Insurance News podcast.
As previously reported, Premier Jeremy Rockliff says Tasmania will “partner with insurers, brokers, reinsurers” to fix insurance affordability and availability gaps, rather than set up a state-owned insurer.
This week’s edition of INsight, hosted by Insurance News MD Andrew Silcox, features editor-in-chief John Deex, deputy editor Wendy Pugh and senior journalist Miranda Maxwell.
The panel also talks about growing opposition to NSW’s plan to abolish its emergency services levy, the growing costs of bursting flexi-hoses, and Lloyd’s latest market commentary.
