INsight podcast: could ESL be extinguished at last?
Long-awaited progress on the abolition of the NSW emergency services levy is the main item discussed on the latest episode of the Insurance News podcast.
As previously reported, a parliamentary inquiry will consider options for replacing the levy on insurance – although it has taken more than two years since the proposed reform was announced to get to this point.
This week’s edition of INsight, hosted by Insurance News MD Andrew Silcox, features editor-in-chief John Deex, deputy editor Wendy Pugh, and senior journalists Bernice Han and Miranda Maxwell.
Also discussed by the panel are the impact of AI app launches on broker share prices, the latest from NIBA on its code review, and IAG’s results.
