Littlewoods Services has named Rebecca Ziflian, who has more than 25 years’ experience in the insurance sector, as CEO.

Ms Ziflian was previously GM and head of operations at Littlewoods and has served as QBE Australia and Pacific senior manager for claims quality assurance, her LinkedIn page shows.

Sydney-based Littlewoods says Ms Ziflian has played a pivotal role shaping the company’s future over the past year, working with the senior leadership team.

“Today, we are proud to announce her promotion to CEO,” it says on LinkedIn. “This marks an important milestone for Littlewoods, and we are confident that under Rebecca’s leadership we will continue to build on our strong foundations, explore new opportunities and deliver even greater value for our clients, partners and people.”

Littlewoods says it has been providing services to the insurance and reinsurance industry for more than 67 years.

Services include regulatory and compliance expertise, consulting, specialist technical accounting for the sector, financial management and tax administration.

It assists with Australian Prudential Regulation Authority and financial services licence applications, helps clients seeking to enhance operational capabilities locally with minimal physical presence, and can connect underwriting agencies with capacity providers.

Ms Ziflian’s previous experience also includes roles at underwriting agency Club 4X4, Protecsure and Suncorp.
