Ex-QBE manager becomes RAA insurance GM
SA motoring club RAA has recruited Lisa Daley to the newly created position of GM insurance.
Ms Daley, who joined this month, was most recently QBE national partnerships manager for distribution, according to her LinkedIn.
She reports to chief strategy officer Ben Owen in the new role.
RAA says Ms Daley has “nearly 20 years’ experience spanning areas like partnerships, distribution, business development, claims, legal and risk through roles at University of Adelaide, AIG, QBE and Aon. Lisa will have carriage of the strategic, operational and financial performance and growth of our insurance portfolio, working closely with teams across the RAA group and Allianz Australia.”
Her appointment comes as the motoring club awaits a competition commission decision on Allianz’s proposed $642 million acquisition of its insurance business.
