Former Aon manager Vanessa Hilton has joined Brisbane-based Clear Insurance, bringing more than two decades’ industry experience to the growing company.

Ms Hilton was most recently Aon’s regional manager for Brisbane and Sunshine Coast – leading a team of 25 risk and insurance advisers across two branches – and education practice leader for Queensland and the NT.

The former National Insurance Brokers Association broker of the year (Queensland) finalist has taken on the role of Clear development executive.

“I’ve spent my career building relationships and developing people, and Clear Insurance gives me the opportunity to do both in an environment where the client really is at the centre of everything,” she said.

“The culture here ­– what the team calls ‘The Clear Way’ – aligns closely with how I believe this work should be done. After 20 years in large corporate environments, that matters.”

Ms Hilton will work with a portfolio of clients across licensed clubs, allied health and non-profit sectors, and take a leading role in the mentoring and development of the risk and insurance advisory team.
