Austbrokers Countrywide unveils new leadership team
Austbrokers Countrywide has promoted GM Darren Toll to CEO, in one of several leadership changes following the merger with Adroit Insurance & Risk earlier this year.
Mr Toll began the new role on Wednesday, heading the executive team comprising directors Tom Sullivan, Matt Kuc, Mark O’Reilly and CFO Kim Evans.
MD Tim Considine will move to the role of executive chair, providing strategic oversight and guidance to the merged entities.
Andrew Knowles, previously Macquarie Group national insurance business lead, will join as head of partnerships and growth for Countrywide.
Austbrokers Countrywide said on LinkedIn today the “leadership appointments and structural changes … will further strengthen the group’s capability and strategic direction.
“These appointments provide a strong leadership foundation as we continue to build a market-leading insurance and risk advisory business.
“We are well positioned for continued growth and success, and look forward to building on the momentum already achieved across both organisations.”
Mr Considine said: “As part of the Austbrokers/AUB Group network, the future is bright for [us] to continue to grow and develop … onwards and upwards.
“As executive chair, I look forward to continuing to support the business, our people and our strategic direction, while empowering the next generation of leadership to guide the company into its next phase of growth and success.”
Adroit says managing principals Carly Hibbins in Ballarat, Ian Kay (Albury), Jesse Thorp (Bendigo), Molly Ross (Gippsland) and Tim Holloway (Geelong) will continue to lead the business at these locations.
