Gallagher senior account manager Martyn Luck was today crowned SA/NT broker of the year, and Aon client service executive Fabio Lucano took the region’s young broker prize.

Mr Luck was recognised for his dedication to client advocacy and technical excellence, says Darren Virgo, SA business development manager at award sponsor CGU.

“We at CGU look forward to seeing what he achieves next,” Mr Virgo told more than 400 professionals at a National Insurance Brokers Association gala lunch in Adelaide. 

Karen Thomas, from young broker sponsor Vero, says Mr Lucano demonstrated a strong focus on client advocacy and professional growth. 

“It is dedicated brokers like Fabio who embody the values of the profession,” she said.

Ten brokers are now in the running for national honours, with winners to be announced at the NIBA Convention on the Gold Coast in October.
